Vinification: A red blend of the four typical grapes of Dão, hand harvested and sorted in the cellar. After destemming, these varietals are individually crushed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. A careful maceration is made for the best expression and typicity of each grape varietal. Touriga Nacional is aged in used French oak barrels for 12 months, with the rest remaining in stainless steel tanks. Natural stabilization and slight filtration maintain this wine's aromatic potential.
Tasting: This vegan friendly wine has intense ruby color with ripe red fruit aromas, hints of wild berries and spicy, floral notes. This smooth-bodied wine has a good balance between its natural acidity and structure. Mineral character provides freshness, with volume and a harmonious finish. This wine can either be consumed now or kept for a few years. It has good structure and freshness, which provide great gastronomic pairings.
