2021 Queimas Field Blend White, Dão

What it is: A traditional white field blend from the Dão, sourced from a single vineyard planted in 1993 and crafted to express place, balance, and longevity.

Why it matters: Planted in the old style with varieties intermingled in the vineyard, this wine reflects the intended blend from the vine forward. Minimal intervention in the cellar preserves purity and regional character.

Tasting notes: Aromatically floral with citrus and stone fruit notes of orange blossom, lemon, and peach, supported by a subtle mineral core. Dry and precise on the palate, with vibrant natural acidity, layered citrus and tropical tones of grapefruit and green pineapple, and a long, composed finish with excellent aging potential.
