2019 Perspectiva Reserva Douro DOP

Vinification: Foot pressing in wine presses while maintaining low temperature control, and malolactic fermentation is made in French oak.

Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels. This brings polishing to the wine as well as adding the necessary complexity and finesse, preserving the traces of the terroir.

Tasting Notes: With firm tannins and a solid, mineral structure, here is a wine with potential. Dark plums and ripe blackberry are to the fore, with the dry core acting as support.
