2015 Apegadas Premium White Douro
Vinification: Grapes are manually selected and harvested by hand. After complete destemming and pressing, fermentation occurs under controlled temperature in French oak barrels with lees contact and bâtonnage until May 2016.
Varietals: Rabigato, Viosinho and Gouveio
Color: Brillant straw
Tasting Notes: Intense and complex flavors and aromas reminiscent of tropical fruits, peaches and citrus. A wine that is elegant and well balanced with a long finish.
Pairing: Oily fish, richer dishes with butter or olive oil, pasta and soft sheep cheeses.

2014 Apegadas Qta. Velha Douro Reserva Red
Vinification: Hand harvested grapes with complete de-stemming. Moderate temperature fermentation and daily manual pump-over. French oak barrel aging for 17 months. No filtration or cold stabilization is used. Sediments might occur over time.
Varietals: Quinta Velha field blend, with predominance of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional.
Color: Intense ruby.
Tasting Notes: Young, intense, delicate and complex. Deep aroma, highlighting ripe wild fruits, floral notes and spices. Fine tannins and balanced acidity create an elegant wine with excellent structure. Persistent, harmonious and very long finish.
Pairing: Grilled or roasted red meats, game, and cured sheep cheeses.
